On November 2, 2026, B.G. Almatova, President of the Republican Scientific and Technical Library NJSC, was a guest on the “Tangy Studio” morning program of the Almaty TV channel. On air, she spoke about the development of science and education in Kazakhstan and the role libraries play in these processes.
B.G. Almatova discussed the role and objectives of libraries in modern society. She also addressed the tasks set out in the Address of the Head of State “Kazakhstan in the Era of Artificial Intelligence: Current Challenges and Their Solutions through Digital Transformation.”
Another topic of the conversation was the “Adal Azamat” ideology. The President of RSTL NJSC emphasized the importance of honesty, responsibility, diligence and the pursuit of knowledge in raising the younger generation.
“A modern library is more than a place where books are stored. It should become an intellectual hub that brings together science and education, innovation and new technologies. A new era sets new tasks for libraries. Digitalization, access to scientific information, the development of reading culture and the preservation of national values are key areas of our daily work,” B.G. Almatova emphasized.
RSTL NJSC expresses its gratitude to the “Tańǵy Studio” team for a meaningful conversation and a warm welcome.
