On October 16, 2026, the Center for Special Types of Technical Literature and Documentation of the Republican Scientific and Technical Library hosted a thematic excursion entitled “Construction Production Technology.”
The event was attended by 57 third-year students majoring in Construction at Satbayev University, accompanied by their lecturer, Zhanna Ongarovna Konysbayeva.
The event opened with welcoming remarks by A. N. Shaposhnikova, Director of the Center. G. M. Utepova, Head of the Collective Users Services Sector, introduced the students to the library’s information resources, electronic catalog, and electronic database of regulatory and technical documentation.
N. S. Trunova, Chief Librarian, presented a thematic review entitled “Construction Production Technology in Documents” and introduced an exhibition of literature covering construction technologies, modern building materials, occupational safety, and regulatory documentation.
At the end of the event, students explored the library’s collections, received answers to their questions, and learned about opportunities to use the library’s scientific and technical resources in their studies and future professional activities.
