On October 7, 2026, the international research conference Elsevier Kazakhstan International Research Conference 2026: Advancing Science in the AI Era in Kazakhstan took place, focusing on current trends in scientific development and the transformation of research activities in the era of artificial intelligence.
As part of efforts to expand access to modern global scientific resources for users in Kazakhstan, trial access has been provided to LeapSpace AI, a new Elsevier platform designed to search, analyze, and explore scientific information using artificial intelligence technologies.
Expanding access to Elsevier’s advanced research tools is particularly important for scientists, researchers, educators, postgraduate students, and specialists from scientific organizations who use the information resources of the Non-Profit Joint-Stock Company “Republican Scientific and Technical Library” (RSTL).
For the Republican Scientific and Technical Library, providing access to international scientific information resources is an important part of supporting scientific and technological research activities in Kazakhstan.
The opportunity to explore LeapSpace will allow members of the scientific community to assess the practical value of modern AI-powered tools for conducting research, preparing scientific publications, and finding up-to-date scientific data.
